Zeta Phi Zeta Fraternity and Sorority, Inc. was started April 11, 2001 under the X-STREAM TEENS
Ministries in the City of Chicago under the vision of Rev. Willie Comer. Rev. Comer was a member of a local church in
the city and operated as the Director of Youth Ministries.
He took a personal attachment to the step ministries at the church. The ministries were ZOE Posse and ZAO.
After ministering at their first ever Greek step show at Eastern IL University as a guest of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Rev.
Comer wondered why there were no Christians stepping for Jesus Christ. He understood that most of the Greek
Organizations were developed on biblical principles but did not see that exemplified at the step shows.
After seeking God for months after as to what to do, Rev. Comer was instructed by the Holy
Spirit to take the principles taught to ZOE Posse and ZAO and use them to transform college
campuses all over the United States for Christ. Thus, Zeta Phi Zeta was born. In addition to
spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Fraternity and Sorority are ultimately responsible for
challenging Greek Organizations to return to God through Campus Bible Studies and Christian
Social Events.
The Organization is open to all who proclaim the Name of Jesus as they're personal Lord and
Savior and have decided to be sold out and live for him. It is made up of two separate
organizations coming under one umbrella. Zeta Omicron Epsilon (ZOE) is the Fraternity of Godly men who represent the
Life of God, which is what ZOE means in the Greek, and are committed to produce more men of God. They're scripture
reference comes from Ezkl 6:11 Thus saith the Lord God Almighty; Smite with thine hand and Stamp with thy foot.
The second half of the Zeta Phi Zeta Organization is the Sorority, Zeta Alpha Omicron (ZAO), which means to have the
Life of God (ZOE) and give it to others. So as you can see the two are very much connected. They're biblical scripture
comes from Psalms 47: 1,2,3 Oh clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of Triumph. For the Lord
most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth. He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under
our feet.
To become apart of the organization there is a six-week grafting in process in which we teach all of the biblical
principles that govern every movement, clapping, stamping, stomping, spinning, turning etc. All of these movements
are found in scripture and each one means something in the spiritual war. In addition to that, the grafting process will
produce brotherhood and sisterhood with those on the line.
WE DO NOT PLEDGE OR HAZE! Neither of these terms is biblical. Grafting on the other hand is
biblical and is needed in the Christian Community. The Organizational Scripture is Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and
teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost!"
Zeta Phi Zeta is committed to the Word of God, Continued Education, Discipleship of others, and
Ministry (Service). If you are enrolled in college, have graduated from college or a committed follower of Jesus Christ
and would like to be apart of this Organization
